The more I learn about E-mail Lists & Marketing the more sense it makes.

I know what you are thinking that you don't need an e-mail list because you have tons of followers on social media. But just think of this; one day you wake up and Facebook is down with no sign of coming back online.

This happened not that long ago... you should have seen the panic in my small business friends who rely on social media. Also with all the changes happening to social media, it’s getting hard to get your message out there without spending lots of money on ads.

Personally, I would rather send and an email to 10 people who want to hear from me then spam hundreds on social media with what I am promoting. Following the 80/20 rule is always good too. Prove to people that you are worth their hard earned bucks. I am going to think of this more as farming than hunting.

I also follow Jenna Kutcher @ The Goal Digger Podcast and Amy Porterfield. These two ladies are a huge inspiration for where I want to be. Udemy.com also has some great classes that can walk you through step-by-step what to do. GetResponse, when you sign up for their service, also has resources that will help you. When you do well they do well and will point you in the right direction.

I really like GetResponse it was easy to add an opt-in pop up on my website and create my follow up email. I was even able to add a form onto my social media page. Everything was in a nice and neat spot.
